Seeking
is Merely Avoidance of the Truth \ |
Seeking is nothing more than an elaborate form of avoidance. A distraction from taking responsibility for the implications of what Is already present in this and every moment. The Truth gains no further value having been “quested” for, it simply Is effortlessly So. It is already perfectly complete, valueless, abiding in its own silent, and most ordinary presence. It is unqualified and conditionless, without any desire to be found, for in truth it is never lost. The very instant that one ceases this obsession with something else, and rests without reason in the presence of That which is Here, the Truth can be revealed. Many use the seeking strategy as a conscious means to avoid the Truth, due to fear of what may come were they to stand in the fire of their True Nature. Really there is no effort involved at all to realise the Truth, it is only that most often there is a stronger desire for something other than what Is Here. Whilst one is not Here, realisation appears at a distance. This 'something other' can take on myriad different guises, though fundamentally it is usually some form of attachment to, or rejection of, present circumstances. Eventually the ego will become exhausted from its constant running toward, or away from, and simply rest in what Is. At long last total satisfaction will be Known. |
