| When is a Tree not a Tree? \ |
How do you know that a tree is a tree? The Truth is, a tree is never a tree. A 'tree' is only a function of the brain recognising certain data, which then interprets it, and the mind then confirms the object as the brain suggests to be a tree, or a dog, or a bird or whatever it is closest to within its referential memory. It is simply another form of label, which seeks to define and control. Everything is simply whatever it Is. When people are identified with the information their psyche processes (either through thought or feeling), their centre of gravity is unstable and therefore offers limited capacity for Reality to be Known. Happiness becomes a random phenomena based on the external world reflecting preferential data back to us. When two peoples minds find themselves with the same data over a situation or thing, there is agreement and therefore harmony. When the processed information is returned with different perspectives attached to it there is disagreement, and therefore the potential for conflict. Imagine everyone is singing their own note, which is reflective of their personal story. When one encounters another, the notes will either sound together in perfect harmony, partial harmony, or discord. It is easy to see how this is the case in relationships where one naturally finds it more comfortable to be in the presence of some than others. Whilst it is possible to remain equanimous regardless of what is occurring around you, the only way that you can abide in perfect harmony at all times no matter what, is to the radiate the Silence of no story.
